My Story

In 2017, my journey began as a Coordinator of Community Service (CCS), which later evolved into a supervisor role for CCS. Over the course of nearly 8 years, I have had the privilege of working closely with communities across Central and Southern MD, including Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties.

Throughout my time in these communities, I’ve gained firsthand insight into the difficulties individuals and families face while navigating the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and community-based support systems. These experiences have fueled my commitment to addressing the barriers people encounter and ensuring they receive the support they truly need.

During my tenure as a CCS, I made it my mission to gather information about direct experiences and ways to advance advocacy, learn about the specific support levels required for genuine satisfaction and become familiar with DDA COMAR regulations. When I created Village Values LLC, I intentionally crafted a space where authentic and meaningful support is at the forefront.

As a licensed counselor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and transferable skills that are used to guide our journey together, forging bonds that transcend traditional providers and support agencies. It allows me to connect with individuals and their families on a deeper level, providing not just assistance but also a comforting presence during challenging times. Caring for someone with a disability is undoubtedly challenging, and we recognize the importance of community support. Village Values LLC is here to be an extension of your village, offering a helping hand and a place to belong. Because, at Village Values LLC, we truly understand that ‘It Takes a Village‘.
